May 2013 User Group Meeting
Experimental Physics using LabVIEW is the topic brought to us by physics students at Utah Valley University, taught by Dr. Bonnie Andersen. They will be showing several projects including: Measuring Brewster’s Angle of Superconductors, Universal Negation Device to Evaluate And Destroy (UNDEAD) Zombies, Improving Solar Cell Efficiency, and Measuring Behavior of a Chaotic Pendulum Using a Wii Remote. Also this meeting, more LabVIEW Tips n Tricks, including Extending Quick Drop by Carl Wecker,Maxtec
This meeting is open to LabVIEW users or anyone interested in learning more about LabVIEW. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP on NI.com.

March 2013 User Group Meeting
This month we welcome a BYU Senior Capstone Team sponsored by TD Williamson. They are creating a production test fixture to validate sensor packages used in pigging of oil and gas pipelines. The application requires motion control and data acquisition running under LabVIEW Real-Time and FPGA on a CompactRIO platform. We will also have a LabVIEW Tips n Tricks segment, so bring them if you’ve got them!
This meeting is open to LabVIEW users or anyone interested in learning more about LabVIEW. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP on NI.com or send email to uvlabview@gmail.com.

July 2012 User Group Meeting
Jay Eyring, a Certified LabVIEW Developer working at the BYU Physics Department, will present on the topic: Leveraging the Power of NI LabVIEW to Automate Multichannel Directivity Measurements of a Concert Grand Piano in an Anechoic Chamber. This presentation won an award at the Nov 2011 Acoustical Society of America meeting! To work on these very large datasets required integration of several LabVIEW features and toolkits including TDMS streaming data acquisition, control using NI Statechart module, video processing with NI Vision and analysis of sound field measurements with NI Diadem and NI Sound & Vibration Toolkit. Come and learn from someone who is very knowledgeable and hands-on with LabVIEW. There will also be LabVIEW Tips and Tricks and Q&A.
