Professor Kent Gee from the Brigham Young University Physics Department will present on Use of LabVIEW and PXI hardware in Military Jet and Rocket Noise Testing. This presentation will give an overview of multichannel acoustical field experiments performed by the BYU Acoustics Research Group on large aeroacoustic sources. As many as 150 channels have been used to record the noise radiated by the F-22 Raptor, the ARES DM-1 motor, and other vehicles.
