November 2015 User Group Meeting

Upgrade your LabVIEW Object Oriented tool box by learning how to build DVR-based sessions.  Dr. Elias Faraclas, a Systems Engineer with National Instruments, will teach about the Extensible Session Framework (ESF), which leverage the features of LabVIEW DVRs and classes to create a session-based API.  These sessions are accessible by name, passed by reference, and extendible via class inheritance.

September 2015 User Group Meeting

Come join us for a battle of epic programming proportions! At this user group meeting we will be having a SquareBattle tournament. To get the most out of this meeting, you can bring your own Squares to compete! For instructions and to post questions on getting your Squares ready for battle visit the UVLabVIEW community discussion on SquareBattle. If you don't want to create your own squares, please come anyway. It will be a unique opportunity to see into the minds of our peers and there will be plenty of fun and, possibly more importantly, learning for everyone at any skill level!

July 2015 User Group Meeting

May 2015 LabVIEW User Group Meeting

This month we welcome students at Utah Valley University, taught by Dr. Bonnie Andersen. They will show their semester projects on experimental physics using LabVIEW that include: controlling a servo using eye movements, a solar tracker and a miniature rail gun prototype.  Add in as many LabVIEW Tips and as much Q&A as we save time for and it promises to be a good meeting.  Please join us!

Whether you are trying to write efficient code, code efficiently, create an awesome user interface and user experience or just trying to make your code behave and look the way you want, it is always good to start by getting your environment set up. In this presentation by Carl Wecker, a Certified LabVIEW Architect from Endigit, we will dive into the different settings and options available in the LabVIEW environment, how to manage those settings and have some good discussions about best practices.
